TORONTO SHORELINES
Advocating for the preservation of Toronto's longest natural shoreline
Guildwood, Grey Abbey & East Point represent 3 km of continuous sand beach
The combined beaches of Guildwood, Grey Abbey and East Point represent the longest natural shoreline in the Greater Toronto Area. This shoreline is 3 km of sand beaches - a treasure worth preserving.

On March 29, 2019 the Ministry of the Environment approved plans that will destroy a large segment of this beach. Under the guise of access, the TRCA
recommends implementing shoreline hardening.
Asphalt and armour stone are a death sentence for beaches. Once the shoreline is altered, the beach is gone forever.

Together as a community, we are standing up for what is right and advocating for the preservation of these beaches that are enjoyed by so many.
Please join us and help maintain public awareness of this natural treasure
